Beerdigung (= funeral) was an attempt of The Happy Gravedigger (THG) to extend Mülleimer SS to a real band. However, the result was a studio formation with THG, a singer whose name is not mentioned, because she does not want to see her name in connection with punk or Beerdigung, and a 'lent' drummer of another Munich kid punk band, who never was a member of Beerdigung.
Hence, all instruments except the drums were played by The Happy Gravedigger (one bass and two or more guitar tracks). THG's instruments were a Fender Jazzbass clone, an Ibanez Stratocaster heavily modified with Seymor Duncan Hot Rails and brass replacements for all steel parts, a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson SG clone. The effects used for the LP were a Morley Wah pedal, a DIY overdrive with a slightly modified Elektor cirquit inside, a Roland chorus and a Roland flanger. THG's amplifier was a Fender Super Six Reverb, used for both, bass and guitar.
